Drab start to the NPFL

So the weekend started on a slow note football wise as the Glo Premier League resumed on March 7th. The double header in Port-Harcourt ended in two draws.

Dolphins couldn't overcome Kwara United while Sunshine Stars battled out a goalless draw at Sharks to start the season on a drab note.

Let's hope Enyimba and Akwa United tomorrow in Aba will usher in the goals for footy fans to savour.

The Sand Eagles lost their semi-final game at the Power House Invitational Tournament in Durban as they were beaten 6-5 by Africa's number one side Senegal.

Good gist however is the the Under-23 side, The Dream Team defeated their Gabonese opponents 2-0 at the Abuja National Stadium to qualify for the next round of the All Africa Games with a 6-1 aggregate after winning the first leg 4-1 away.

The Flying Eagles start the 2015 AYC campaign tomorrow (Sunday) in Dakar. Let's hope they put a smile n our faces by this time tomorrow.
