You might wonder why we love and celebrate away wins in Nigeria. We do, but that's a story for another day.

Kano Pillars, who got last week off because of the robbery incident played their first game on Saturday and they beat Bayelsa United 2-0.

Enyimba of Aba will on Sunday tackle Smouha of Egypt and I hope they can do us proud and put a smile on our face unlike Dolphins who got.....I don't even want to start ranting this fine Sunday so I'll leave it here.

Saturday's NPFL results

Shooting Stars 1 ( Taofeek Adepoju) Heartland 2 (Ebere Odiche, Oni Jimoh)

Kano Pillars 2 ( Adamu Mohammed, Ubong Ekpai) Bayelsa United 0

The Flying Eagles drew their last match in Group A of the 2015 AYC in Senegal. They force a 2-2 draw with a resolute Ivorian side who didn't give the Flying Eagles any breathing space.

You can read the full match report HERE or watch the video highlights in the video below
