Senegal pummel Nigeria to win fourth title

So we lost the Beach Soccer title to Senegal who smashed us 8-4

Below is the match report culled from my parent website Supersport

Senegal continued their amazing run at the African Football Confederation (CAF) Beach Soccer 2016 tournament in Lagos to remain unbeaten and clinch their fourth title by beating hosts, Nigeria.
It was their fourth title, making them the most successful team on the continent, in Beach Soccer.
The Senegalese side [below] exhibited the class that made them unbeatable throughout the tournament and simply flattened the Sand Eagles 8-4.

Nigeria [below] who were looking for their 3rd title after winning it in 2003 and 2007 seemed to be playing at a different speed and never could catch up to their fellow West Africans who were simply quicker off the ball, and finished clinically upfront.
This is the third time Audu Adamu’s men will be losing in the competition’s final – after a failed attempt in South Africa 2006 and Morocco 2011.
Meanwhile Senegal's Al Seyni Ndiaye was named best goalkeeper of the tournament, and Nigeria's Emeka Ogbonna decorated as the Most Valuable Player of the championship. Babacar Fall, the amazing Egyptian, won the tournament’s topscorer’s prize with 11 goals.
Both teams , Senegal and Nigeria, will now represent Africa at the Beach Soccer World Cup in 2017 in the Bahamas.
Earlier in the 3rd place game, Egypt easily swept aside Morocco 4-1
