10 players who have impressed me (so far) in the #NPFL18
So I did a bit on Twitter.
I did a run down of players who have impressed me so far this season. Ten players in all who have caught my eyes.
Two goalkeepers made the list while the rest are attackers and defenders.
If you missed it on Twitter here we go.

The #NPFL18 has been very interesting so far and with 24 match-days already gone, a few players have caught my eye with impressive performaces.— Andrew Randa (@RandaAndrew) July 22, 2018
A thread on my top 1⃣0⃣ performers in the @LMCNPFL @NPFLOfficial .... so far
NT: Not necessarily in the order they come. pic.twitter.com/vzkeEUJ4sx
1⃣. Junior Lokosa.@pillarsfc striker who has 19 goals in 24 games and is the top scorer in the #NPFL18.— Andrew Randa (@RandaAndrew) July 22, 2018
Proper fox in the box and an accomplished finisher.
Can't find anyone better in the league who has his since of positioning and predatory instincts. pic.twitter.com/W2OUQKzzAo
2⃣ Sunday Akinmoladun— Andrew Randa (@RandaAndrew) July 22, 2018
Started the season at @NigerTornadoes but defends the colors of @KwaraUnitedFC now. Centre back who is built like a tank was colossal in Tornadoes defence but now trusted to help Kwara as they fight relegation.
Solid old school type defender. pic.twitter.com/wgvmCGosTi
3⃣ Tosin Omoyele.— Andrew Randa (@RandaAndrew) July 22, 2018
Young @plateauutdfc striker who is playing his first season in the top. Not the biggest of strikers but makes that up with nimble skills and pace.
Five goals and four assists for the Jos side this season makes him the go-to guy for the champions. pic.twitter.com/nfHRIvVzAa
4⃣ Olufemi Kayode.— Andrew Randa (@RandaAndrew) July 22, 2018
The goal-keeper left @AkwaUnited_fc after the arrival of Leke Ojo in search of regular football and he's found his best form in Markudi.
Kayode has been a mainstay for the table toppers with 10 clean sheets and fantastic saves to help @LobiStars to the peak. pic.twitter.com/lbYMaTvHBQ
5⃣ Ikechukwu Williams (in green). The @Nasarawaunited midfielder can also play in attack and has been a revelation for the solid miners this season. He's racked up five goals and two assist so far this term.— Andrew Randa (@RandaAndrew) July 22, 2018
Full of running and blessed with pace, he's a star in the making. pic.twitter.com/oC79izIWXp
Moses Ugwu (@NigerTornadoes). Young lad in his first few weeks in the league. In-fact, he just turned pro but he caught my eye with a an inspiring display on his top flight debut. He's churned out two MVP games after that. Creative midfielder who is a starter for the Minna side pic.twitter.com/iSAurZ1sad— Andrew Randa (@RandaAndrew) July 22, 2018
7⃣Sikiru Alimi - @sikiru16 (@SunshineFCAkure)— Andrew Randa (@RandaAndrew) July 22, 2018
Granted Sunshine haven't had a good season at all but Mr Alimi has been the stand-out guy in Akure.
Seven goals and an assist has seen him carry the Akure side on his back. If Sunshine are to escape the drop, Sikiru is vital. pic.twitter.com/RKB8d0o1ab
8. Fatau Dauda - @fataud1 (@EnyimbaFC ) Second goalkeeper on my list & one of the reasons Enyimba are where they are.— Andrew Randa (@RandaAndrew) July 22, 2018
The Ghanaian seems to get better with age. Few times I watched him this season, he pulled off some incredible saves. I use to doubt him but I'm a believer now. pic.twitter.com/UFntRheLqu
9⃣Samson Obi. The midfielder has had a break-out season and is definitely @AbiaWarriors star man this season.— Andrew Randa (@RandaAndrew) July 22, 2018
Nine goals so far this season is a testament to that. Any time I watch him, he brings his A-game. Future Eagles star if he keeps grafting. pic.twitter.com/9qKgrNpQY8
1⃣0⃣ Bashir Usman (@NigerTornadoes). I know. I'm guilty as charged. I've watched more games in Minna than other venue. Forgive me.— Andrew Randa (@RandaAndrew) July 22, 2018
The winger has impressed me big time this season with his step-overs, dribbling and crosses. A goal and two assists to boot.
One for the future. pic.twitter.com/0wxotmGC1f
