LMC declares 2017/18 NPFL Season Concluded at Match Day 24

*Lobi Stars to represent Nigeria in CAF Champions League *No team to be relegated and 4 teams to be admitted from NNL *2018/19 NPFL Season to be abridged An emergency joint consultative meeting of the League Management Company (LMC), the 20 Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) participating Clubs and members of the Nigeria Football Federation(NFF) Executive Committee resolved amongst many other far reaching decisions to declare Lobi Stars as the country's representative in next season's CAF Champions League. The meeting was called against the backdrop of the adverse circumstances in the administration of football in the country, which resulted in the indefinite suspension of the resumption of the (NPFL) leading to huge fixture congestion for both league and cup competitions. The second of the six point resolution of the meeting was that none of the 20 NPFL Clubs shall be relegated to the lower league.

New gig- Quick-fire series.

So I started a new series on my Youtube channel called 'Quick-fire'. I basically ask players questions, quick ones. Questions that encapsulates their personalities and life outside the pitch. Rohr inspects Ahmadu Bello Stadium, to release list Friday

Super Eagles’ Technical Adviser, Gernot Rohr, on Wednesday inspected the newly –renovated Ahmadu Bello Stadium, Kaduna as preparations begin in earnest for the remaining matches of the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying series. Nigeria play away to Seychelles in Victoria on Matchday 2 of the series on Friday, 7 th  September and must then entertain Libya’s Mediterranean Knights in Nigeria on Matchday 3 in the second week of October. The Franco-German tactician checked out the facilities at the Ahmadu Bello Stadium in company with NFF’s 2 nd  Vice President/LMC Chairman, Mallam Shehu Dikko and Super Eagles’ Team Administrator, Dayo Enebi Achor. Officials confirmed to  thenff.com  that former Germany defender Rohr will on Friday this week release his list of invited players for the away clash with Seychelles.
