I want to help Jets win trophies - Musampa

Mighty Jets striker Okiki Musampa has said there is more to come from him and his team-mates after he led the Jos based side to a 2-1 win over Ekiti United in the Aiteo Cup Round of 64 game on Monday. The former Shooting Stars striker scored Jets second goal as they advanced to the Round 32 of the Aiteo Cup, a feat Musampa attributed to his side’s determination to win the 2018 Aiteo Cup. “It was a great game for us and I’m glad we won against a very difficult team like Ekiti United. They fought really hard and even got a goal after we went 2-0 up,” Musampa told 9jafooty. “When they got the goal, they became more determined to equalise but we fought hard to earn the victory and advance to the next stage. “There is more to come from me and my team-mates because we are all focused on one goal. The goal is to win the Aiteo Cup and we are determined to do so. Musampa, who was playing his first game for Mighty Jets after a mid-season move believes he will score more goals for hi

Azango at his KAA Gent presenttion Two years ago, Philip Azango was mesmerizing defenders in the Nigeria Professional Football League and it was just a matter of time before he stepped up another level. That chance came when AS Trencin of Slovakia plucked the Jos-born player from Plateau United whom he left just before they lifted the Nigerian League title in 2017. A lot queried the move to Slovakia but Azango was determined to compensate for missing the title with Plateau even though he eventually got a medal from Plateau after their title triumph. "It was a hard decision to take but I'm risking taker. It was sad to leave Plateau United at that point but I was focused on taking my game to the next level, "Azango told 9jafooty. "Not everyone was impressed with me for doing that but that motivated me to work harder and prove that I can make it in Europe," he added.
