Emeka Ezeibe's Player Ratings: Nigeria vs Iceland.

FRANCIS UZOHO: Showed composure for the entire duration of the match.
Charged at his defence and co-ordinated them properly. Kept us in the game especially
 in the first half. 7
LEON BALOGUN: Played with maturity and seems to improve with each game.
Surged forward on some occasions. 6

WILLIAM TROOST: Provided cover for the young keeper and matched the giant Icelandic
players' man to man. A much-improved performance compared to his last game. 6
KENNETH OMERUO: Was the calming effect in the defence line. Won all his aerial duel
with ease. Was involved in the build-up for the first goal and provided assistance
for the second.
Hugely underrated with a master class performance. 8
VICTOR MOSES: Played with gusto and was a constant threat from the flank.
Provided the assist for the first goal. 7
BRYAN IDOWU: Was the weakest link of the team. Didn’t provide much support going

forward. Cautioned before the end of the first half and was subsequently substituted.
Flop of the match. 3
MIKEL OBI: Was in total control of the midfield and marshaled it like a General. Superb performance from the Eagles Skipper. 8
OGHENEKARO ETEBO: A Decent performance from the former Warri Wolves
play-maker. Provided cover for Mikel to dominate. 7
WILFRED NDIDI: Almost got a goal, save for the alertness of the opposing keeper.
Didn't really allow the Icelanders to switch play from midfield to attack. 7
AHMED MUSA: Showed great technique for the first goal and was cool, calm, collected
and composed for the second.
Man of the match performance from the CSKA Moscow Man.10
KELECHI IHEANACHO: Didn't worry the opponent’s much in the first half but his hold up play was decent. 6
TYRONE EBUEHI: Provided support from the left wing upfront and tracked back to cover loose balls. His low point was committing a foul that led to the penalty which was missed by Sigurdsson. 5
ODION IGHALO & ALEX IWOBI: The duo couldn't do much as the Eagles are already in total control of the game and cruising to victory. 6

EXTRA NOTES:

2. The organization was superb at the back.
3. Bryan didn't really give much support upfront.
4. The Eagles had an outstanding performance in the second half.
